We are currently in the process of rolling out Windows 7, our entire test machines at the moment have the same issue where the event log is being spammed every second with the following error.
The Diagnostic Service Host service failed to start due to the following error:
A privilege that the service requires to function properly does not exist in the service account configuration. You may use the Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in (services.msc) and the Local Security Settings MMC snap-in (secpol.msc) to view the service configuration and the account configuration.
I have followed other posts where it suggests changing Group Policy for profile system performance and set Administrators and NT Service\WdiServiceHost. However this has not resolved the issue ? I am not sure if the GP change I have made has had any affect as when looking at the Diagnostic Service Host properties I can see Log On is still set as Local Service - should this not reflect the names in the GP change? Any help will be appreciated as the logs are getting pretty big now.
