Logo Design Help for new business!

Hi Guys,

I need your opinions on some logos for a Real Estate Investment Company (OPENGATE PROPERTIES). The company buys distressed homes from either individual home owners or shortsales/foreclosures, then will either flip them (renovate then sell for profit) or renovate and rent them out. They also market to investors to bring them on for capital.

I am going for a very professional/sophisticated look, and wanted the logo to look like a large investment firm rather than a small, campy company. I wanted a certain degree of sophistication that would appeal to investors as well as the distressed homeowner, giving a sense that the company has done this before and knows exactly what they are doing. I've have three logos that I would like your critique on:

1) Open Gate Logo - I like the idea of this one, very basic that describes the name of the company, however I'm not sure if it is sophisticated enough or simple enough. Any thoughts on this one on whether you think it fits for a professional investment firm, or if its too "cartoonish"? I also have two different thicknesses on the bars of the gate that form the "O" and "G".

2) G Symbol Logo - This one is more basic and I tried to make it slightly resemble a key hole while keeping the form of the O and G. Thoughts on this one?

3) Gate with Box - Another basic one. I think I am trying to go for a simple look to try to get that sophisticated, professional look without too much detail.

All thoughts would be appreciated. I like the open gate logo just not sure if its simple and elegant enough for a professional logo design, but I may be over thinking it. Please let me know your thoughts! Much appreciated!

Not sure this thread belongs here, but the logo with the grey background looks the most professional IMO.
